A trusted name in IH collector auctions
Bates Auction & Realty is a family-owned auction company in Bourbon, Indiana. Our family runs Bates Corporation, which since 1965 has built the largest dedicated IH parts inventory in North America.

Nationwide reach through our parts business
Collectors, restorers and farmers across the country come to Bates Corporation every day for parts and for advice on IH equipment. That puts us in front of your buyers long before an auction is announced. All of our advertising is done in-house: targeted social ads, collector magazine ads and mailers, aimed straight at them.

From one piece to an entire estate
We are licensed auctioneers, and we know what this equipment and these collections bring, from a single piece of memorabilia to a complete estate. We value the lots, write the listings and conduct the auction ourselves. You work with the same people from the first conversation through to settlement.

Where farm collections sell
Rare farm memorabilia, original signs, restored tractors, and collections put together over a lifetime. These are the things our bidders watch for, and the ones families most often trust us with.
